SINGLE CASKS

These wines have their own special characteristics, given by the casks they were aged in.
As they have distinctive qualities, these wines, after careful selection by the wine team, are bottled exclusively with the wine from a single cask. When they are bottled, they have spent at least 15 years in oak casks. They are generically identified by the harvest date and by the variety of grape they came from.
The exceptional quality of these wines is mainly due to the nature of the cask (history, age and capacity), as well as the location in the cellar during the aging period. All of this contributes to giving the wines characteristics that are different from the wines that made up the batch initially.
Justino’s Madeira keeps only its best barrels for its Single Casks.
