On April 7 2018, the Frankfurt International Trophy counted with the presence of 2250 competitors in the categories of wines, beers and spirits.

The purpose of this contest is to reward the best wines, beers and spirits. It is the first international competition held in Germany that invites experienced amateurs to take part in the jury.

More than 700 competitors were awarded, among them, Justino's Madeira was awarded this year with a Grand Gold Medal for the wine Colombo Madeira Colheita 1998.

The 2018 edition was attended by chief Andreas Krolik, named ''Chief of the Year 2017'' and has 2 Michelin stars.
